Marketing Your Family-Friendly Gym

How to attract and convert parent members

You've built the space. Now fill it. Here's how to market your family-friendly gym.

The Core Message

Your marketing message is simple: "Train hard. Bring the kids."

Don't overcomplicate it. Parents don't want a thesis on child development. They want to know three things: 1. Can I train seriously here? 2. Will my kids be safe and entertained? 3. Is it worth the money?

Answer these three questions and you'll convert.

Channel Strategy

Instagram (Primary) - **Content mix:** 60% family content, 30% training content, 10% behind-the-scenes - **Key content types:** - Kids using the BabyGains equipment (pure gold for engagement) - Parent + kid workout clips - Before/after of the family zone build-out - Family WOD highlights - Parent testimonials (video > text)

  • Posting cadence: 4-5x/week stories, 3x/week posts, 1x/week reel

Facebook (Secondary) - **Focus:** Local parent groups. This is where parents research. - **Strategy:** Join local parenting groups. Don't spam — add value first. - **Content:** Share articles about kids and fitness, your family events, parent testimonials

Google (Foundation) - Update your Google Business Profile - Add "family-friendly" and "kids area" to your description - Upload photos of the kids zone - Encourage parent members to mention the kids zone in reviews - Target keywords: "family friendly gym [city]", "gym with kids area [city]"

Local Partnerships - **Pediatricians:** Leave flyers about kids fitness - **Schools & daycares:** Sponsor events, offer family passes - **Kids activity providers:** Cross-promote with swim schools, martial arts, etc. - **Real estate agents:** "Moving to the area? Our gym is family-friendly" — new families are your best leads

Launch Campaign (First 30 Days)

Week 1: Teaser content — "Something big is coming for gym families..." Week 2: Build-out content — Behind-the-scenes of the kids zone construction Week 3: Reveal — Professional photos, video tour, member reactions Week 4: Offer — "Founding Family" rate for first 20 families to join
